Description Set of 4 adhesive suction cup protector foils for GUITARLIFT 2.5 inches in diameter Please Note: Foils are ONLY Needed on open-pored surfaces/or mat-lacquered guitars, because air gets under the suction cup through the pores and it then loosens. Oven-porous are oiled, matt lacquered guitars and guitar backs with old, worn lacquer finishes. This can also apply to French polish, as this type of lacquer is sensitive to moisture (sweat) and to mechanical abrasion. You don’t need foils on a good new French polish. Please Consult a luthier before choosing to put these on your guitar.
