(Lunch, Dinner Included)Day Two: Acclimatization. Enjoy breakfast rest and reset – enjoy beach strolls, ocean swimming and generally explore this stunning location.  Sunset dinner.Overnight: Ocean Villa’s Twin/Double / Triple Rooms, Air-conditioned with En-suite bathroom. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)Day Three. Today we will enjoy some local activities which may include snorkeling & beach activities with a trip to the Tip Of Borneo where the two oceans of the South China Sea & Celebes Sea meet. Dinner at the villas.Overnight: Ocean Villa’s Twin/Double / Triple Rooms, Air-conditioned with En-suite bathroom. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)Day Four: Overland transfer to a local village in the mountains for your homestay. Meet your hosts after the welcome ceremony.  Exchange stories with local elders to learn about the culture and traditions of the native people of Sabah. Learn how they live in harmony with their land, respecting and honoring nature, growing their own vegetables & fruit, making their own instruments, utensils & homeware. Exceptional night skies and stunning mountain backdrop.Overnight: Village Homestay, Private Twin/ Double Rooms, Shared Bathroom. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)Day Five: Embark on a hike through the foothills of Mt Kinabalu, passing by Pineapple Ridge and orchards. After the long hike, enjoy a lunch picnic by the Tahubang Riverside. Enjoy a relaxed four hour overland journey passing by hills, lush rainforests and palm oil plantations to the Sepilok Kabili Forest Reserve.  Free at leisure until dinner time. Overnight: Sepilok Jungle Resort, Twin/ Double Share, en-suite rooms with air-conditioning. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)Day Seven & Eight: Rise to the calls of gibbons and hornbills. Visit Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre to witness feeding time at 10am. Proceed to the Bornean Sunbear Conservation Centre to learn about the smallest bear in the world.Next is the Kinabatangan River. Home to some of the most varied and easily accessible wildlife in all of South East Asia. River People, or Orang Sungei, live in small settlements spread out along the river and for the next 2 nights you will be immersed in their culture and surrounding wildlife. You will arrive at lunch time, then you will have to freshen up before the afternoon river safari to search for wildlife. Elephants, orang-utans, crocodiles, proboscis monkeys, macaques, hornbills and myriad of birds live in the region.Overnight Bilit Adventure Lodge twin share en-suite, air conditioned rooms.Day Nine: Rise to the calls of gibbons and hornbills and embark on a 1-hour morning river safari to look for more wildlife waking up by the river bank. Lunch en-route to Sandakan Town. Airport transfer.
