NikudQuest Readiness Assessment for Units 1-8 The Nikuquest Unit Readiness Assessments for Units 1-8 are a crucial tool for evaluating a child’s preparedness for a new unit, ensuring that the learning will be within reach. By administering this assessment before starting a unit, educators can ensure that each child has the necessary foundation for success. Our assessment helps identify: – If a child is ready to begin a unit in regards to letter knowledge, phonemic awareness, decoding and emergent vocabulary and encoding – Gaps in knowledge that need to be addressed before starting a unit, including reading syllable, words or phrases – Areas where a child can start a unit while targeting specific gaps for improvement NikudQuest Student Guidebooks for Units 1-8, kamatz- kubutz, for one student/ educator  These Guidebooks will take a child from reading their fist syllables and words to reading full sentences, stories, biblical versus and prayers.
